April 2004

LotRPS Plumbing by Diana. Liv and Dom exchange bodies, but not only wackiness ensues. This had a pairing I've never read before, and wonderful character detailing and romance. A beautiful story about the ways in which the plumbing doesn't have to matter. And wine.

LotR/BtVS Orturmoriwen by Twinkledru J. A shortish but packed origin-type story for the Slayers set in the world of Lord of the Rings. Sad and surprising.

Highlander/BtVS/Harry Potter The Bartender's Tale by Rusalka. Methos, Giles and Remus walk into a bar... A funny, funny story about misunderstanding and tattoos. Clever and inventive and with a wonderfully bewildered outsider's POV.

Boondock Saints/Gossip A Guide To Modern Living by Lassiter. An unusual Travis/Connor story set some time after both movies. Travis and Connor come across each other in New York and find a mutual need. An interestingly talky and revealing story, particularly about city life and the events in Boondock Saints. Sad.

Terminator/Highlander An Invincible Summer by Troll Princess. An unlikely sounding Sarah Connor/Joe Dawson story which works brilliantly. Joe and Sarah cross each other's paths in Baja and develop a relationship, of sorts. Great characterisation, and I liked this glimpse into Sarah's life between T2 and T3.
