Finding Nemo What It Feels Like by Cimorene. A Nemo/Gill futurefic which is all kinds of sweet without being slushy. Sweet and funny and warm and shivery, with fantastic characterisation. And Dory's in it! Dory!

Finding Nemo An Interlude on Mount Wannahockaloogie by Amanuensis. More Disney fish slash, this time set in the Tank (does that make this chan?). Nemo/Gill from Gill's slightly sardonic and experienced point of view. Warm and wonderfully characterised.

The Authority The Waiting Room by Andraste. Apollo/Midnighter. How they met, before they were changed. Bittersweet Midnighter POV on what he can - and can't - recall. Poignant.

X2 Written On The Body by Fay. Broken link... Protected Entry? A Kurt/Logan series that gives beautiful Kurt. Thoughtful Logan POV, concentrating mostly on scars and memory. Sweet, funny, sexy.

The Authority You and me and rainbows by Basingstoke. PWP, but characterful, and there's a noxious sense of place (derelict) and atmosphere (grotty). Apollo/Midnighter.

Authority The Waning Dark by T'Kuro Grym. ' After the defeat of Sliding Albion, Hawksmoor and Midnighter spend some time away from the Carrier, and bond in their own unique way.' A strong piece of character reflection on Jack Hawksmoor (abducted by aliens, now has a special affinity with cities) and the Midnighter (sort of Wolverine in a Batman costume).

Authority Generator by Matt Nute. A plot-rich Authority adventure with elements of Apollo/Midnighter slash. Imagination overdrive with a story featuring not deus ex machina but God as a machine. Plenty of humour and interesting character moments with enough (skilful) exposition that even a novice like me understood the premise and the players. If you want information on the comic, backstory and characters, try here.

Authority Conspicuous Consumption by C. Comic-fic. Apollo/Midnighter. No real redeeming features to this one, it's just funny. Sardonic Midnighter POV as he and Apollo go shopping. Not nearly as cutesy as you'd expect and, woo, actual gay superheroes.

Authority 'Til The Midnight Hour by Indigo. Another story showing what a mad and brilliant concept The Authority comics are. This one is a light-hearted exploration of the ways the team spend the Millennium New Year. Plus some Apollo/Midnighter slush.

X2 Ten Thousand Candles by Andraste. An enlightening exploration of the repercussions of events in X2. Xavier POV featuring most of the characters reacting to new truths and the frightening reality of Xavier's power. Well considered and thoughtful.

X-Men/X-Force Old Wounds: New Nightmares by Abyss. Speculative and based on comic canon, but many of the characters will be familiar from the X-Men movies. This is the X-Men dealing with Onslaught. Fragmented, but the battle scene is particularly powerful and sad. Cyclops et al. and duty, leadership and sacrifice.

X-Men/X-Force Live-Action Porno by Tangerine. Combines my newest favouritist pairing, Rictor (Julio) and Shatterstar (er, Gaveedra) with X-Men's Iceman and Pyro (Bobby and John). There's some purple prose but I liked the embarrassed and desperate first-timer element to John and Bobby's relationship. Young, gay and in denial is just sweet.

X-Force Liquid by Jane St. Clair. A lush Rictor/Shatterstar story that does wonderful, wonderful things with a bath. For some context on the characters, see the rest of the site (including art from the original comics - they were so doing it).

X-Force Me and Julio Down By The Schoolyard by Tangerine. No lyrics were mauled in the making of this story. 'Sillyfic. Julio and Gaveedra go shopping, when Gaveedra decides he needs a hobby. Much nuttiness and horniness ensues'. Part of a vague series, but this stands pretty much alone. Smiley fic. I love the song too. Don't look at me like that. It's happy!

Ghostbusters Ancient History by Robyn Thurman. A story about friendship and trust, this is Peter, Egon and Ray: the college days. Laugh out loud funny in places, with a smidgeon of Venkman-angst. Sweet.
