Like all the wood furnishings in the office, the door was made of heavy, highly-polished teak. Nonetheless it was a burning rasp against William’s back, grinding down his gasping squirms like the tongue in his mouth that was splintering his protests. Though by this point, he didn’t have that many.

“Yes?” Alexander drew back, patient beneath his hot questioning gaze.

William tried to catch his breath. “But I’m—”

“I don’t always look at Archie. Or Horatio—it’s a bit hard to think of them separately, isn’t it?” The other man propped his elbow on the door beside William’s head. “Now, would you care to return the favor?”

It being the polite thing to do, William did so. With gusto.
