Angel Godspeed Vid by KK (wmv). A vid which charts the relationship between Angel and Connor, and how much Angel loves Connor. Moving Angel POV.

BtVS Move Your Feet Vid by Rowena (wmv). A brilliantly timed dance vid using footage from Once More With Feeling. Fun, but also looks at the serious stuff that went on in that episode.

BtVS Schism Vid by Vrya (realplayer). A vid which looks at the many faces and incarnations of Spike, and whether he's always been who he became, and whether he can reconcile the different pieces of himself. I like the way it reuses clips to build momentum, and particularly the jagged opening. Flash editing, and a fab ending. Great source, and spoilers up to the end of Buffy.

Angel Going Under Vid by Wolfling. (wmv) The things Wesley does for Angel, huh? A sexy Wes/Angel vid focusing on season four. I have mad passionate feelings for season four Wes anyway, and this concentrated all that for me.

Angel Precious Illusions Vid by Wolfling. (wmv) A really moving and fitting study of Cordelia, mostly through AtS (spoilers into season five). Charts how she changes, and what doesn't change.

Angel Disease Vid by Astarte (wmv). An Angel/Cordelia vid, focusing on season four. Angel has a 'disease', sometimes he fights it, sometimes he doesn't. An interestingly twisty shippers' vid, with great source, great music, and slick editing.

BtVS/Angel Your Horoscope For Today Vid by Carol S & Jackie K (wmv). First things first: you will need to ask Triptych Vids for the password to the site: contact details are at the above link. Secondly, these vids are compressed using WinRar. Details about downloading WinRar can be found on the 'Vids' page at Triptych.
Uses a "Weird Al" Yankovic song, but doesn't always go for the most obvious lyric-image match. A hard one to describe, so I'm just going to go with funny, clever, fresh and sparkling.

BtVS Destiny Calling Vid by Colours (rm). A fun, folicking and ever so true vid, mainly about Buffy, Faith and Kendra. Spoilers for the seventh season. They're freaks, but they have a destiny, dammit.

BtVS Entropy Vid by Kaydalia (mpeg). An 'Entropy' (season six episode) preview to Johnny Cash's version of the song 'Hurt'. Kaydalia says that she basically ripped off Cash's music video for this one, and that's true in the sense that she used scenes across the series history and also that it's incredibly moving. An impressionist study of the crash of relationships in BtVS, this works as much more than an episode promo. Xander/Anya, Spike/Buffy, Willow/Tara. A vid that doesn't let you go. Fantastic timing and use of the music.

BtVS Help Vid by Kaydalia (mpeg). A moving "preview" of the seventh season episode 'Help' which works as a precis of the episode and also a reminder of its importance to the Buffyverse. Not everyone can be helped. Great choice of movie-trailer music and decent source. Is it just me, or are these previews much more fun than reading episode guides?

BtVS Hymn of Heroes Vid by Kaydalia. (mpeg) From the beginning, to the end. A girl and her four friends become heroes. A suprisingly simple vid, with great choice of music (it sounds very much like a lullaby, something I know but can't - quite - remember) which serenely sums up the heart of the series in an unbelievable 1 minute 13 seconds. I cried.

BtVS I Hate Everything About You Vid by Meghan. (wmv) I hate everything about you, so why do I love you? Explores the love-hate relationship between Buffy/Spike and Faith/Wesley, and the parallels between the couples, particularly in the being beaten up stakes. Great timing and use of the music. Interesting and confusing at the same time.

BtVS Back to LA Vid by Meghan. (wmv) A Faith character vid following her from BtVS to Angel, with some detours on the way. It's a narrative vid, though, and tricksy and complicated with it. Figuring out just what 'LA' represents is going to take a few more viewings, I think. Not the best source, and some odd use of special effects, but more than worth it.

BtVS Fred Astaire Vid by Meghan. (wmv) A character vid that recaps Xander's place within the scooby gang. Lots of early season wackiness and fun Xander moments. Middling source.

Angel Putting Out Fire With Gasoline Vid by Luminosity. (wmv & realplayer) A vid neatly summed up in its subtitle as 'Angel overreacts' and how that usually comes back to kick him in the ass. Purely a character piece, featuring Angel being manipulated by Wolfram & Hart. I particularly liked the dreamy opening, before the song heats up. No season five spoilers.

BtVS The Ballad of Sunnydale Rockridge Vid by One Layer Cake Productions (Mad Poetess). (wmv) A crossover of Buffy-ville with the Blazing Saddles soundtrack. 'Once upon a time, there was a sleepy little western town. Then some bad guys came along, and all hell broke loose. Sort of.' Lots of fresh footage and funny japes. The title cards are fantastic. Includes season seven spoilers.

BtVS Mad World Vid by Luminosity. (wmv & realplayer) A remastering of an older vid, with better source. Spike throughout season six, craziness and history.

BtVS Rebel Yell Vid by Luminosity. (wmv & realplayer) Another cleaner, crisper remastering of an older vid, this is wild Spike, loving and hating.

BtVS Beatitudes Vid by Laura Shapiro (wmv & quicktime). An incredibly moving look at some of the tribulations and joys of BtVS folk throughout the series. Done calmly and without cliché, this is a beautiful vid.

Angel Fast and the Furious Vid by Myrtle & Eunice. (wmv) A spoof of the 2 Fast 2 Furious movie preview using Angel footage. Fast and fun with bloody brilliant source and fresh clip choices.

BtVS/Angel Cell Block Tango Vid by Meghan (wmv) Fred, Cordelia, Faith, Willow, Buffy and Anya as the murderesses from Chicago, confessing to their deeds. This is so much fun.

BtVS/Angel Dangerous Vid by Blondie (wmv or mov) Whoo boy. A steamy Spike/Angel vid with clever use of out-of-context clips to make it all. about. the. sex.

BtVS Please Remember Me Vid by Kaydalia. (wmv or rm) I'm all Spuffied out and this still managed to move me. It must, uh, be the music. A montage of Spuffy moments from seasons two to seven with major spoilers for Chosen. Flows gently with the song (Dante's Prayer) and sticks closely to the shape of Spike and Buffy's relationship.

Angel My Skin Vid by Astarte. (wmv) Spoilers up to 4x17. Not a pairing I usually fancy but this might just convince me. Angel/Cordelia with a really, really (did I mention really?) lovely song by Natalie Merchant (well, I like it) and finely timed clips. I love the opening, with a quote from Doyle and Angel. Doyle! The first four minutes focus very much on Cordelia's pain and brand of heroism. The rest, strangely, seems almost from a different vid (probably something I'm missing) but the last episode quote rocks. Another one that can make me cry. Dammit.

BtVS/Angel Circle Of Light Vid by Astarte. (wmv) Spike and Angel, forever circling each other. Lots of sexy Spike and Angel moments which focus on Spike as the eternal outsider who desperately wants to get to Angel. Fab source, clever opening and an insightful character vid.

BtVS Cry Little Sister Vid by Xandra. (wmv) Basically a Chosen vid, with some choice moments from throughout season seven. It's all dramatic and stuff. I can't say anymore without spoilers. Xandra also gets bonus points from yours truly for using a song from The Lost Boys.

BtVS I Feel Fine Vid by Xandra. (wmv) A funny and also kind of sad Giles-centric season four vid in which he gets beaten up, plays guitar and drinks rather a lot. Ah. Giles.

BtVS Unlock Your Heart Vid by Kaydalia. (reaplayer) Major spoilers for the last few episodes of season seven, with an interesting, "meet the characters and major events" postscript covering all seasons. Outstanding timing to the music, so the vid flows like a dance and plays very well while hitting the lyrical high notes. A large file (17.5mb) but brilliant source, and no logos.

BtVS Previews Vids by Kaydalia. (mpeg) Oooh I like these a lot. Cinematic and pacey alternate episode "previews" including season seven's Get It Done, End of Days (a bit too spoilerific for the ep to be a "real" preview but funky), Empty Places (pithy, and uses Last of the Mohicans music, squee!), Touched (romantic) and an overall season 7 promo. Also previews for Graduation Day II (nailbiting) and Normal Again (my favourite, super cinematic). All they lack is ubiquitous trailer voiceover guy.

BtVS 21 Vidlets Vid by Vrya. (realplayer) Four minutes 55 seconds of song snippets (They Might Be Giants, Fingertips medley) matched to BtVS weirdness. I like the theme-y ones best. I also giggled evilly at the heart attack clip. Poor Riley.

BtVS Yodel Vid by Wendy. (wmv) Yes, the Sound of Music song. It's fab. Really. Great comic timing. Happiness! Zaniness! In Buffy! Who'da thunk it? Blimey, the show was wacky once upon a time. Fresh clip choice although middling to bad source. Still. Funny!

BtVS Sleepwalker Vid by Wendy. (wmv) (Spoilers include the seventh season ep 'Storyteller' and the end of season six). In complete contrast to Yodel (above), this is a serious and pretty darn moving Xander vid. I've seen Xander-unlucky-in-love vids before, but never one that concentrated on Buffy. How much Xander wishes he could be good enough. Not much Xander-smiling in this one.

BtVS The Other Side Vid by Luminosity. (wmv & realplayer) A season seven vid with spoilers all the way to the finale. A Spike POV Spuffy vid, not rompy or romantic but very intimate. Wholly Spike and Buffy. I started to like it about two minutes in. And then I watched it again. And then I watched it again. And about the fourth time of watching, it made me all weepy, so, yeah. Nary a talking head. Ever inventive, with interesting use of still captures, different clip speeds and fading. Moves wonderfully along when the music gets more expansive. One of those vids that can give a completely different perspective on a character.
