theNailbox

Blog edition v2.0.5

So this is the new and improved Nailbox. After plenty of being busy with stuff like work and family I finally got around to develop Nailblog-2 to be something more usable. It's still not complete and some of the links in the main menu will link to the old Nailblog because some required functionality isn't quite there yet.

Right, so that's all good. But what is it?

The Nailbox started as a place to keep my links. At first it was just a collection of links and nothing else.

Eventually I added a picture gallery, remade the pages a couple of times... Then I tried out blogging.

When I remade my site to support blogs I also made it modular so I could add functionality more easily. One thing led to another and eventually I had made a sort of CMS (Content Management System) which was actually usable. So I made the whole thing downloadable (If you need a simple CMS which does not use a database, this may be for you).

The latest step have been to remake the whole Nailblog CMS. The last version had some core limits like, mainly no support for other languages, which I've fixed in this version.

So now all you have to do is click the main menu to get around. If the site design changes as you click along, that means you're accessing something that's not yet available in the new version and you're sent to the old Nailbox to get it.
