A Noble (though perhaps futile) Attempt to Explain the

NSync/Highlander Crossover of DOOM!

Ok. Not really of doom. We're not going to kill people who won't come back. Unless it's in a good way. It just makes J Alfred giggle to call it that. (Which should be evident by the theme of this entire site.) This entire thing was inspired by a fic by Nynaeve. It's called "Pixie Hunt," and you can find it here. J was reading fic as recced by Christina and the words "NSync/Highlander Crossover" popped out at her. She loved the idea of Immortal!Chris and felt that it explained so much. She wanted more, but alas, there was none. J felt compelled to fill the vacuum of 'NSync/Highlander Crossover Fic, hence this page you read now.

Primer for Highlander: It was a movie, and then several sequels. Then it was a TV show. Connor McLeod is from the movies, Duncan McLeod is from the series. They're clansman, a couple hundred years removed. They're both in Highlander: Endgame, the latest movie in the universe. Methos is from the series. He is the oldest man on Earth, about 5000. We think that he and Duncan are meant for each other. Immortals live normal lives until they die for the first time, at which point they no longer age. They cannot be killed, except by beheading. They can sense other Immortals. They fight in The Game. This is when Immortals challenge each other, sword fight, and cut each other's heads off to get the power of the Quickening. There may or may not be a point or prize at the end of the game. This is a matter of speculation in the fandom. We're not sure if there's a canon answer. There is a group known as the Watchers, they record the histories of the Immortals. They are not supposed to be involved in the lives of the Immortals they watch. J has only seen a few episodes, and none of the movies, most of what she knows is from fic.

Alas, J is the biggest procrastinator in the world. This may or may not ever be finished. However, certain people have called to her attention that it can't really be termed "Crossover of DOOM!" without at least 4 or 5 fandoms. She invites anyone to join in the DOOM-ey fun.
